Episode 27 - Eden Winter Kings

Featuring: Michael Mashado, Gawaine Blake, Peter Ferguson, Richard Greven and Winga.

This week on YouFishTV Winga and the crew hook up with Michael Mashado from Eden NSW and go in search of winter kingfish at the legendary Green Cape.  The water is calm and icy cold (13 degrees) but it doesn't take long for the boys to find some hungry kings and get into the action on ultra light gear.  Plenty of screaming reels as the boys get given heaps by these hard pulling fish. The method: drift and let your lure hit the bottom then as you slowly roll it up you impart a couple of special twitches to the lure. Overall, lots of tips for you this week on how to go about chasing kings on plastics for yourself. Anyone who wants to get up there and get into the action should contact Michael as he will give you all tips on where to look to find the fish so you can implement the techniques you saw on the show. The Think BIG crew will be heading back to Eden in the warmer months to tackle some of the bigger hoodlums to 25kgs using the same ultra light gear, now that will be fun!
