EPISODE 46: Yellowtails of Two Cities

Featuring: Joseph Fernand, Matt Caterson, Chris Cleaver, Adrian Mikkelson and Brendan Wing

Back to Cape Lip Trap VIC we go to lock horns with those awesome untouched schools of kingfish. The conditions are calm and balmy and fish again greet the boat upon the arrival of the Bar Crusher.  First up, a three way hookup then shortly after several singles to 10kgs.  Covered in this part fo the show is Wingas views on sounding, trolling  and rigging techniques plus an explanation on how (and why) to fight these beasts without getting dragged into and cut off by the reef.  This is the Vic side of things.
Then in last part of show we head out of Botany Bay NSW with YouFishTV's newest host Luke Wyrsta who hooks up with Chris Cleaver and Adrian Mikkelson and looks at their ideas and techniques for battlng the NSW hoodlums. Their style is quite different and instead of trying to stay on top of the fish like Winga who head-knocks the fish aggresively with the rod to turn it, these boys turn their boat to sea and put the throttle down.  And this is very exciting indeed.  However the result, in the end, are very similar and succesful.  In all an intersting show that has some very contrasting techniques for targeting the comeback kings including downrigging vs trolling running Western Port rigs from directly off the rod.

Gear info same as Episode 44.
